Discounted admission to all DC Active Singles events!

For nearly all regular activities, members will receive a $5-10 discount off the non-member price for the event. For weekend or longer trips, the member discount will be $25-$50. If you attend just two events a month, or one or two events per month and a weekend trip, your membership has paid for itself! And there are even more great benefits of membership listed below!

Membership Directory

Once you become a member, you will have a profile page on which you can display as much or as little information about yourself as desired. There is space for a photo, bio, contact info, and links to your social media sites. You have 100% control over how much or how little information is available and visible to other members.

Weekly Newsletter with Event Updates, Announcements and More!

At least once a week, members will receive an email newsletter with updates on upcoming events, activity changes, and more. Reports on past week's events will also be provided, along with any relevant member announcements (new members, member engagements or marriages, or anything else you'd like your fellow club members to know (e.g., a new job, a new house.) Finally, if we hear of other promotions and sales (e.g., from REI, EMS, and other relevant outfitters) we'll let you know!

Our Members-Only section of the website will contain access to articles, information and links that we believe will be relevant to our members. Topics will include dating, local areas of interest, service providers etc., and will include reviews where relevant, as well as links to relevant content on other sites. This section will continue to grow with time.

Leader Credit!

Any member who leads an event will receive a one-month membership extension. Just let us know what you want to lead and when, and we'll try to get it on the calendar. After you turn in the sign in sheets and forms, we'll credit your account with an extra month of paid membership. Annual members may lead up to six events per year; six-month members may lead up to three events per six-months.
