DC Active Singles is a membership-based activities club that provides a comfortable, non-threatening environment for active single professionals, aged 30+, from Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia, to meet others with similar interests for friendship and dating. We host 15-20 activities per month, including social and networking events, recreational events, cultural events, day and weekend trips, and more! 

We are always thinking outside the box to create unique and different experiences for you to enjoy!  Want to taste exotic single leaf teas from all over the world with your own sommelier? Participate in a bagel-tasting to rate various local offerings? Learn the unique and complicated sport of curling? Discover new hiking trails? These are just examples of the great variety of activities you'll enjoy while cultivating new friendships and having fun with like-minded singles.

DC Active Singles was founded by Liz Friedman, former Activities Director of the Mosaic Outdoor Mountain Club of Maryland and Event Chair of Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America. During her years as a volunteer and in her personal career, Liz received numerous awards and accolades for delivering high quality experiences and superior customer service.

At DC Active Singles, we do all of the pre-planning, so all you need to do is show up and have fun. Join our FREE mailing list today by clicking on the "Add me to your Mailing List" link. You can then attend any of our events as a non-member -- all you need to do is register for the event.  The non-member price is always at least $10 higher than the member price, so to receive discounted admission and take advantage of the other great member benefits detailed on the "Member Benefits" page, you'll want to become a member as soon as possible.
